The Threshold: individual processes
Some transitions can't be solved. They have to be lived through. It might be a breakup, a loss, a job coming to an end, or something that has shaken the ground under you without your quite knowing what. The familiar falls away, patterns in the body that felt like who you are begin to let go, and it takes time to find your footing again.
How it works
We talk, but we also listen to the body, to what can be felt before there are words for it. I follow what is alive in you in the moment, not a method or a plan. Sometimes we sit inside, sometimes we walk into the forest or down to the fjord. Many people find it easier to breathe, and easier to say what is true, without walls around them.
In practice
-
Everything starts with a short written inquiry and a no-obligation first conversation.
-
We meet on Nesodden or online.
-
Processes run within an agreed timeframe, with breaks in between, so that what happens has time to settle.
-
Prices and terms are under Ethics and prices.
This work is not health care or treatment of mental illness, and it does not replace it. Where it makes sense, I'm glad to work alongside your GP, psychologist or other practitioner.
Contact
All processes and collaborations begin with a brief written inquiry. Please share a little about your current situation, or that of your organization, and what you are seeking. There’s no need to go into detail at this stage, and please don’t include more personal or health information than you’re comfortable with. Inquiries are treated confidentially.
Capacity for individual processes and consultation is currently limited. I read every inquiry and will reach out if there is availability and a good foundation for working together.
My work is not health care or treatment, but it can complement it. If you are in acute crisis, please don’t wait for a reply from me. Contact your GP, the emergency room (116 117) or, in an emergency, 113.
