The Movement: sensing leadership and organizations
Most organizations already have the tools: strategy, values, appraisals, personality tests and culture programs. Even so, many leaders feel that nothing moves. Meetings are correct but lifeless. Change processes run while the culture stands still. People say the right things and hold the rest back.
The tools work on the top layer, in language, stories and frameworks. What actually drives an organization lies underneath: how safe the room is, how much people trust each other, and what everyone senses but nobody says. When that layer isn't safe, the content slides off. No values process survives a room where people don't dare say what they see.
I work with both layers. I hold a master's degree in organizational psychology, have experience with leadership and culture development in some of Norway's largest companies, and spent ten years on the front lines of climate and cultural movements.
What is sensing leadership?
Sensing leadership is the capacity beneath all the tools: reading what is actually happening in a room, a person or an organization, and acting on it. It is a skill of the body more than a technique, and it can be trained. You notice it in meetings, decisions, conflicts and change processes.
What I offer
-
Leadership accompaniment. Long-term one-to-one work with leaders in real transitions: a new role, restructuring, conflict, running out of strength, or the question of what kind of leader you want to be. Confidential, grounded in the body, and without ready-made answers.
-
Leadership teams. Processes where the team practices saying what is true, hearing what goes unsaid, and making decisions from contact rather than position. For many teams, it's the first time they really meet.
-
Culture and organization. Longer processes for organizations that want to work in ways that build people up instead of wearing them down.
-
Conflict and stuck situations. Long-running conflicts and workplaces marked by old wounds: humiliation, whistleblowing cases, broken trust or loss. These sit in the foundation, and another round of cooperation talks rarely solves them. I work where they actually live: in safety, in what goes unsaid, and in what has to be said out loud before anything can let go. If someone needs more support, I refer on and work with the right services.
Outdoors
Part of the work takes place outdoors on Nesodden. It isn't team building. It's because a room without walls changes what people dare to say.
In practice
-
Processes are tailored, from one-to-one leadership accompaniment to multi-day processes for groups of 10 to 80.
-
I work across the Nordic countries.
-
All work runs within an agreed timeframe, so that changes have time to settle and people aren't worn out along the way.
-
Prices and terms are under Ethics and prices.

Contact
All processes and collaborations begin with a brief written inquiry. Please share a little about your current situation, or that of your organization, and what you are seeking. There’s no need to go into detail at this stage, and please don’t include more personal or health information than you’re comfortable with. Inquiries are treated confidentially.
Capacity for individual processes and consultation is currently limited. I read every inquiry and will reach out if there is availability and a good foundation for working together.
My work is not health care or treatment, but it can complement it. If you are in acute crisis, please don’t wait for a reply from me. Contact your GP, the emergency room (116 117) or, in an emergency, 113.
